Same-Day Sick Visits
At our pediatric outpatient clinic, qualified pediatric physicians provide evidence-based care following current medical guidelines for patients from newborns through junior high school age. We also strive to create a welcoming atmosphere where parents and caregivers feel comfortable discussing not only medical concerns, but also everyday questions about raising their children.
Our Approach to Care
- We provide care that is evidence-based and in accordance with established medical guidelines.
- We explain your child’s condition, diagnosis, medications, and daily care in clear, easy-to-understand terms including a review of any prescribed medications at every visit.
- If specialized examination or treatment is needed, we will arrange a timely referral to a hospital or specialist.
Helping Us Provide Accurate Care
In pediatrics, a diagnosis can often be reached through a thorough medical history and careful physical examination. A brief written summary of symptoms, a record of how the condition has progressed, or photos and videos of your child at home can be very helpful in guiding our care.
Well-Child Visits
Infant and toddler health checkups support the physical, mental, and social development of every child, and provide reassurance to those involved in raising them. These checkups offer not only early detection of illness, but also an opportunity for parents to seek advice on childcare concerns.
Group checkups are conducted at municipal facilities with multiple families, while individual checkups take place at our clinic. We encourage you to attend both types of checkups at the appropriate ages.

Vaccinations
Vaccines are the most effective means of protecting against infectious diseases caused by bacteria and viruses. They work by introducing weakened or inactivated forms of the viruses or bacteria into the body, allowing the immune system to build protection safely. Vaccinations begin at two months of age, and because many types and multiple doses are required, it is important to start the schedule on time.
Vaccination Schedule
There are two types of vaccinations: publicly funded (routine) and self-funded (elective). Routine vaccinations are recommended by the national government and covered by public funding (※). Elective vaccinations are paid out-of-pocket-however, this does not mean they should be skipped. Every vaccine on the schedule plays an important role in protecting your child’s health, and we strongly encourage proactive immunization.
※ Public funding applies only when the vaccination is received at a designated medical institution, within the eligible age range and prescribed number of
doses. Vaccinations received after the applicable deadline will require out-of-pocket payment. Please note that vaccine types and recommended intervals are subject to change. For the latest information, check notices from your local municipal office or feel free to ask our staff.
